Italian Civic League to celebrate with Parade and Luncheon
2nd Annual Rochester Parade ready to go this weekend
Rochester NY - May 21st, 2008
In 2007 the Italian Community in Rochester celebrated our first Columbus Day parade. This year the Italian Civic League will again host the parade in downtown Rochester, in addition to our traditional Columbus Day Luncheon. Please join 2008 Parade Grand Marshal Andrew Meloni, former Monroe County Sheriff, as he leads the parade this year in celebrating our community.

- Columbus Day Luncheon Monday, October 13th, 2008 at 11:15am
We are looking for groups to participate in the parade, sponsors, spectators, and children of all ages to fill Main Street Rochester for this great community event. Also, we will be honoring people in the Italian community at both the luncheon and the parade. You are welcome to submit nominations for all recognition categories. Use the Contact Us form to send in your suggestions.
Columbus Day celebrations are only a part of the many events planned during the month of October. October is Italian Heritage Month. For more information on upcoming events, visit our website www.italiancivicleague.org.
